5 Strategies To Lose Weight Without Exercising

Do you want to lose weight without exercising?

Hey girl!
I am Christina Nguyen, Mother of 3 and a fitness fanatic and creator of the BossBody Lifestyle.  In my blogs I want to show you how to lose weight and live a healthy lifestyle with a simple blueprint.

Before I begin I want to tell you a quick Story. One day, in 2016-2017 I was in the dressing room at Nordstrom’s or Macy’s. I was getting ready for the event and I was there with one of my girlfriends.

I needed a dress.  While I was in the dressing room she started to throw dresses over the closed-door for me to try on. They were the size, I thought I was. But oh my gosh the dresses, I couldn’t even put them on!  So I kept on going up to the next size and I could not believe the size that I was in and I was barely fitting into that dress. So my girlfriend literally was like, hey girl, let me just try to zip this up for you really quick.

It was one of those moments where I was like “ are you kidding me right now?” am I a stuffed sausage?

Am I being stuffed into this dress right now?

I was so sad I end up having to get out of those dresses because my girlfriend said to me,  it’s better to buy a bigger size instead of trying to squeeze yourself into a little dress. It just looks better.  Okay so I took off the dress and I literally had a panic attack.

She went and  got the bigger size and I could not believe and said to her, no way I am this size. I gave her back the dress and I put my clothes back on.  As I was walking out of that dressing room I thought to myself what did I do to myself? How did I let myself go?  What in the world happened?

So at that moment when I left the department store, I got into my car, sped off, sobbed my eyes out and said to myself

How did I get here?
How did I let myself go?

And I knew I needed to change, so from that moment.  I decided to change. So guess what this girl did. I made a commitment to myself to lose the weight that disgusted me.  To get rid of the muffin top that surrounded my waistline that I avoided by putting on big flowy shirts and my husbands big tshirts.

I was done!

In the beginning, I lost about 12 to 15 lb of pure fat!

The first 30 days……I didn’t like working out! 

I didn’t want to, but I knew I had to.  In the beginning stages of losing weight I implemented five different strategies and so I want to share them with you.

You can lose weight without exercise but will you lose more weight exercising?

Heck yeah, girl but  are you going to do it?

Probably not!

The first thing that’s really easy for us busy moms and full-time women that work or run a household, is to change our nutrition. What we eat and what we drink is the first thing that we can change, that’s the easiest before working out. It’s easier because it’s just there and easier to attain than getting dressed and actually driving our selves to the gym.  So you can do that right away, changing your eating habits. If you decide to continue your weight loss journey without exercising then you got to be really clean on your nutrition.

 If you choose not to work out then you got to be mindful of the food and the drinks that you are putting into your body.

Here are the 5 strategies that I used to lose weight without exercising.

  1. Do not skip meals
  2. Eat smaller portions
  3. 24-48 Fast with Bliss once a week
  4. Do not eat before 10 am and not after 7 pm
  5. Drinking the right amount of water for your body weight
